Transport
There are several ways to get to Budva depending on where you are departing from. We have made a small summary over the closest airports. We will arrange for transport with buses from Budva center to the venue and back for the Wedding.
Airports
Montenegro is a small country. There are two airports in the country itself, and one close by in Croatia. There are public transport options from each of the airports to Budva, or you can book a taxi or a rental car in advance.
Tivat
The closes airport to Budva, 22 km away (30 min by car).
Several cheap airlines fly to and from Tivat in the summer.
A taxi from the airport to Budva costs around 50 €
Podgorica
The capitol city of Montenegro, 60 km away (1h 15 min by car).
Not a recommended summer destination due to the extreme heat, but the road to Budva is quite scenic.
Make sure to arrange your transport in advance (just grabbing a taxi can be very expensive).
Dubrovnik
A Croatian pearl only 70 km away (2 h by car - boarder crossing out of EU may cause delays).
Plenty of flight connections.
We recommend renting a car or arranging private transport in advance.
To and from the Wedding
On our wedding day there will be arranged transport from Budva center to the venue with airconditioned buses - exact pickup times and spots will be posted closer to the date. There will also be planned return times by bus. For those who prefers taxi or the freedom of leaving anytime there will also be taxies outside the venue all evening.

Taxi
You can use Uber in Montenegro. We do not recommend non-native speakers to haul taxies on the street (they will try to up the price).
There will be taxies posted outside the Wedding venue for the whole duration of the evening.
